  • 2013 YONEX Canadian Masters Badminton Championship

    In 2010 KBC hosted the Canadian Masters Badminton Championship here at our club. This year it's back again in British Columbia at ClearOne in Richmond April 22nd-27th. If you're interested in this tournament then check-out their website at CMBC2013.

  • 2013 Ogopogo Masters Tournament

    Entries are invited for the 2013 Kelowna Ogopogo Masters Tournament to be held on April 5th-7th.

    Events consist of Singles, Doubles and Mixed.

    In age categories 30-39, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+ and 80+.

  • Beginner Orientation

    At our last executive meeting it was agreed we needed to provide an opportunity for “new” and “recreational” players to enjoy the game and to provide help with learning some of the “basics”.

    To that end, one of our coaches will be available Sunday afternoons between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to give players some tips and to help players with the basics of badminton.

    One of our senior members will also be on hand Wednesday evenings between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to help new players have some fun and answer any questions they might have regarding the basics.

  • Food Bank Drive

    Members are encouraged to drop off items at the club, the Tuesday ladder group has waived the $2 bird fee December 18th only in lieu of a food donation. The Saturday morning group also will waive the $2 bird fee in lieu of a food donation
