Junior Training

Junior Training:

For the 2012/2013 season we will be offering 3 programmes, Beginner, Intermediate I and Intermediate II. There will be two training periods each of 14 weeks for each of the programmes. Each training period will cost $130 and will consist of 2 x 1.5 hour training sessions per week.

 

The 2 training periods will be:

 

September 10 to December 13

January 7 to April 13 (this training period will have a 2 week break to cover spring break)

 

The Programmes will be:

 

Beginners: Monday and Wednesday: 3:30 – 5:00 pm

The focus of this programme is centred on basic skill development and is intended for children between the ages of 6-11 years.

 

Intermediate I: Tuesday and Thursday: 4:00 – 5:30 pm

This programme is intended for those athletes that are still looking at basic development and, generally, will be for children aged 12-15 years.

 

 

Intermediate II: Tuesday and Thursday: 5:30 – 7:00 pm

This programme is to cater for athletes that have participated in the programme previously and are looking to play in tournaments this season. Generally the age group will be 16-18.

 

It will be at the Head Coach's discretion which programme a Junior will be assigned to.
