Executive Meeting, August 26, 2010

1.      Meeting called to order: 7:33 pm.

2.      Matters arising from AGM:
Item 11: Jennay Oliver has been co-opted onto the committee as Social Director

3.      Janitorial
A new janitor has been contracted.

4.      Security
It has been reported that two wallets have been stolen from members at the club. By the time that the committee was made aware the camera recordings had been overwritten. The camera system will be re-programmed to retain information for a longer period and also arrangements will be made to store data off-site.

5.      Eye-wear
The practise of providing a set of protective glasses to new junior members will be continued. We will not provide free replacements should a junior lose their glasses.

6.      Coaching
The Junior Director presented her proposal for coaching for the coming season. Various discussions took place and the outcome is that it looks like we will have a viable coaching program for next year. The head coach’s position will be offered to Robbyn Hermitage a two time Olympian and multiple national champion.
