  • KBC to reopen January 28-February 4

A big thank you goes out the City of Kelowna. Three(3) weeks was set aside to complete the cleanup in preparation for the installation of the insulation. I attempted to have this phase of the project move up by a week but unfortunately the company contracted to complete the job are not available. The positive is that the City Crews completed their portion of the work one week earlier than expected which means we are able to reopen the club for the coming week.

  • Kelowna Badminton Club Closure

As you all know your club is undergoing a major upgrade to the roof and we are into the final two stages, the clean up and the installation of insulation vapour barrier. We were hopeful of playing through the clean up phase and only shutting down for the actual insulation install HOWEVER the cleanup has proven to be a far more significant process than anticipated causing us a great deal of concern for the health, safety and well being of our membership.
