Kelowna Badminton Club Closure

As you all know your club is undergoing a major upgrade to the roof and we are into the final two stages, the clean up and the installation of insulation vapour barrier. We were hopeful of playing through the clean up phase and only shutting down for the actual insulation install HOWEVER the cleanup has proven to be a far more significant process than anticipated causing us a great deal of concern for the health, safety and well being of our membership. We did our best to work around the project allowing the members to continue to play the game but in the end we have to balance this against the club liability and the safety of our members.

It is with regret that we must take the action to close the facility effective immediately. The club will remain closed for the duration of the project February 27^th. I apologize for the mixed messages however I trust that you will agree that we are looking at the best interests of membership.
