KBC Rules
- Court shoes must be worn.
There are donated shoes in each of the locker rooms for people to borrow in case they don’t have any. Court shoes need to be non marking. Please it is important that you wear different shoes to the club so that we do not track in sand and dirt from the outside as this will damage our courts. If you have an old pair of court shoes that you no longer use please donate them to the club for visiting guests.
- Key Cards are not to be loaned out to anyone.
This includes family members! This is to ensure the safety of the members and the club. Members will be warned and risk having their membership and card revoked.
- Guest Fees must be paid prior to play.
These apply to anyone who is not a member. There will be a guest book for members to sign their guests in so that they will be covered by our insurance.
- Please turn Cell Phones OFF.
With the exception of people who are on call etc.
- No Singles play during busy Adult playing times!
Singles are not to be played during Adult playing time if there are people waiting to play. Playing times are noted on the bulletin board in the lobby and on our home page.
- No Slow Play!
During busy times games are to be played and the court vacated so the next foursome can play.
- Juniors are not to be brought to the club to play during adult times.
During the off season this rule can be relaxed so long as there are no adults waiting for a court. The club does allow some juniors adult privileges at the executives discretion.
- Please clean the kitchen after use.
This is a courtesy for the members but you must clean up after yourselves or we may have to lock it up again.
- Lights and Locks
Last to leave please make sure the doors are secure and LIGHTS ARE TURNED OFF.
- Visitors!
If you sign a visitor in you become responsible for his or her visit and you must ensure that the visitor pays the drop in fee and understands that they must leave when you leave, non members are not to be left in the club by themselves.
- Any player under 19 MUST wear Protective Eye Wear when on court playing.
It is up to the players on the court and all members to ensure that any junior they see playing adheres to this rule.
- No caps on court.
We request that players wear sport appropriate clothing.
KBC is managed by volunteers so it is expected of all members to help maintain our club. Please if you see something is full empty it or if it is empty fill it the executive try to keep all supplies available in order for members to do this.
Thank you KBC Executive.
